Everything was going good until the bar manager asked us to leave

Nice location and average hotel. I didn't like the check in process. I'd called them a day earlier that I would be coming early and appreciate it if you could provide a room early to change the dress and go to the office. The representative said, we would most likely have a room by 1:30 PM and hang up. However on the day of check in, I went to the hotel around 1 PM and a lady at the front desk said , we had fully booked the hotel last night and didn't have any rooms available and rooms were being cleaned. I explained the situation and requested that I could wait 30 mins and waited in the area opposite the reception. I asked after 1:30 PM and the answer was the same, no rooms were ready/ still being cleaned, asked to check in at 3PM. I had the only option to change clothes in the bathroom and store the luggage, which I did and left to the office. I can't understand why a single room wasn't available even after 1.5 hrs after the actual check out time. Could have asked room service to have a room ready but they didn't. They didn't even try that is what made me upset. The room was big enough and clean. The only issue I had was with the bath tub with dirty water flowing backwards when it is not being used (not sure how?). I noticed it while I was in the bathroom and mentioned it to the reception. They did apply a temporary fix as soon as possible. Overall stay was okay but could be much better.

Convenient location. Room was decent. The beds were a bit firm but not bad. Had issues with the shower pressure and temperature and room was slightly dirty (not vacuumed in corners and under tables and some trash from prior guests). I wasn't aware until we checked in that there was a nightclub on the premises of this hotel. We could distantly hear the music in our room at night but not so much it kept us awake. But, the few times I had to go out to my car after dark there were lots of people smoking outside and in the garage and crossed paths with people who were intoxicated. The staff were all great. Would stay here again but probably not with children.

Housekeeping knocked on the door before the promised check time of two PM. The checkout experience was so so. This hotel needs to do better hospitality wise!
